Parking
Parking is a challenge in the heart of any lively community, no matter how large or small. Just think about how many blocks you had to walk the last time you went into Manhattan to see a Broadway show. South Orange is fortunate in that we have over 400 parking spots available within two blocks of SOPAC and Clearview Cinema. All lots are free after 6:00 PM and all day Saturday and Sunday.
We recognize that parking is more difficult on Friday and Saturday nights and offer the following suggestions:

The 250-car commuter lot on Third Street behind the South Orange Rescue Squad
The 265-car New Jersey Commuterlot adjacent to SOPAC and Clearview Cinemas is often full on weekends and event nights.
▪ On Friday and Saturday nights we recommend that you proceed directly to these lots, less than a five-minute walk from SOPAC:
The Rescue Squad lot at the corner of Third and Sloan Streets
▪ Small lots on South Orange Avenue, First Street and Sloan Street are usually filled early by local restaurant patrons and are not recommended for SOPAC parking.
