Led by the dynamic artistic vision of choreographer, Carolyn Dorfman, the company embodies her commitment to “human experience, interactions, perceptions and truths.” A consummate storyteller, her high-energy and technically demanding repertory uses movement as metaphor to take audiences on what one reviewer described as “intellectual and emotional journeys.”

An evening of high energy dance featuring Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company’s repertory at its finest, Classics And…features The Klezmer Sketch, Echad (One), and a sneak preview of Dorfman’s newest work Tikkun.  The evening will also include an introduction by Carolyn Dorfman, as well as a post-performance discussion.  A great family event, CDDC returns to SOPAC following its sold-out debut last May!
