The Seton Hall Theatre begins its 2008-2009 theatrical season with George Bernard Shaw's anti-war comedy, Arms and the Man, directed by Dr. James McGlone.

The play's story takes place in 19th Century Bulgaria. It captures the romantic chivalry of military campaigns and their absurdity. A young mercenary flees the advancing Russian army and finds safety in a young woman's bedroom. The woman, played by Annalise Wiesel, takes pity on the soldier, played by Henry Lague, and rescues him, all the while condemning him for his cowardice. Their second meeting is quite different and amusing.
