A seventeen-piece, conductorless chamber orchestra, ECCO combines the strength and power of an orchestral ensemble with the personal, intimate nature of chamber music. Performing works by Mozart and Britten.
Combining the strength and power of a great orchestral ensemble with the personal involvement of soloists, the East Coast Chamber Orchestra’s fresh interpretations of new and old works have earned them a place as one of the most exceptional ensembles of today’s generation. This conductor-less chamber orchestra was formed in 2001 by soloists and chamber musicians, many trained at Marlboro. Since their formation, they have performed at New York’s Town Hall, as well as the Kennedy Center.
